Teamwork comes naturally to Shumonay and its no surprise that she loves working in team Chadwicks - a team that is fully committed, professional and caring.
Shumonay is also known for her exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle delicate and complex claim situations with sensitivity and professionalism. She is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that clients receive the best possible outcome, and takes great pride in helping people during difficult times. Tayla is passionate about fostering meaningful connections and creating positive experiences for both clients and teammates at Chadwicks Risk and Insurance. With nearly a decade of experience, she believes that the foundation of great work lies in collaboration and teamwork, which drives her commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
Throughout her career at Chadwicks, Tayla has honed her relationship-building skills and consistently demonstrated a dedication to supporting her colleagues and clients. Her approach emphasizes empathy, active listening and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those she works with.
Outside of work, Tayla enjoys reading, baking and playing the piano - all skills she has refined over the years. She is also deeply committed to giving back to her community, dedicating much of her free time to volunteering at her local church. Her values of compassion and service guide her professional and personal life, making her an integral part of the Chadwicks team.

Shaan is a dedicated professional in the Client Services Department at Chadwicks Risk & Insurance Brokers, where her adaptability and keen attention to detail allows her to provide tailored guidance and support to clients. She is committed to continuously expanding her insurance knowledge to help clients make informed and confident decisions regarding their policies and coverage.
Shaan’s Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Sciences helped her develop strong analytical and project management skills which she uses to effectively manage and organise her tasks while ensuring the smooth delivery of services to clients. Shaan enjoys working, collaborating with, and learning from the Chadwicks Team as they are continuously working together to provide clients with exceptional client experiences, while fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment.
Outside of work, Shaan enjoys spending time at the beach, watching movies, and creating lasting memories with loved ones. These moments of relaxation fuel her passion for delivering exceptional service and building meaningful relationships with clients.
CEO
Tim is the proud owner of Chadwicks, which was founded in 2003, and is really passionate about ensuring that everything the business does represents the brand and Chadwicks purpose, which is to show people that INSURANCE can and should be Fast, Friendly & Simple.
Tim became as Associate of the Insurance Institute in 1997 and has been actively involved, for over 30 years, in various roles in the non life insurance industry, including as an administrator, broker and underwriter, .
He is on a permanent quest to master the technical aspects of risk and insurance, but experience the most satisfaction by helping his team grow and by helping as many people as possible with INSURANCE.
When he is not helping people with INSURANCE, he is pursuing his passion for fine art photography and exploring the beauty of the natural world.
Client Services Manager
Mantana revels in her job, which in her words “is all about helping people with INSURANCE”.
She is the proud manager of a team with some pretty amazing skills and has helped them grow and hone their skills over many years. Her goal is to make INSURANCE fast, friendly, and simple - so you can get on with your life.
As someone who works in Client Services, Mantana has the privilege of talking to folks from all walks of life. She believes this is one of the best parts of my job, as “there is nothing quite as fulfilling as helping someone navigate the sometimes confusing world of INSURANCE”. She says it feels great to know that we're making a difference in people's lives by ensuring their assets are protected.
Mantana takes great pride in her work and is totally committed, driven and motivated. But at the same time, she loves to keep things friendly and relaxed.
In her spare time she enjoys doing Family History work, Scrapbooking and also, spending time with her grandchildren.
Risk Advisor
Anton Jordaan is a Risk Advisor at Chadwicks. He studied Entrepreneurship and Industrial Psychology at Stellenbosch University, which gave him a solid understanding of how businesses operate and how people make decisions. He applies both of those to his work every day.
At 22, Anton is newer to the insurance industry. He sees that as an advantage. He does not carry the habits that give insurance its bad reputation. He is not chasing premium or rushing through renewals. He asks the questions that many advisors stopped asking years ago, because he is still curious enough to dig. His goal with every client is simple: make sure they know exactly what their policy covers and where it stops, before they ever need to use it.
Beyond his advisory work, Anton is involved in the strategic direction of the firm. He built and maintains the Chadwicks website, contributes to the firm's marketing and visual identity, and writes on LinkedIn about risk and insurance in plain language.
Outside of work, Anton is on the trails with his GoPro or making music and taking photographs. He enjoys a good braai with family and friends. His Christian faith shapes how he approaches his relationships and his work.
Risk Advisor
Matthew is proud to be part of Chadwicks, a privately owned boutique insurance broker business, mainly specializing in bespoke insurance solutions for both commercial organizations and high net worth individuals.
He has a natural flair for all things risk and insurance and is intrigued by the diverse world of insurance. His open, friendly and engaging manner make him the ideal insurance broker. Added to this is his attention to detail, listening skills and his “no task is too big” attitude, which makes him a great team player and asset to the business.
Matthew’s passion for insurance began after exploring various fields, including mechatronics engineering, genetics, and human anatomy & physiology, as well as serving as a youth pastor and public speaker. This diverse background has equipped him with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which have proven invaluable in his current Client Development role in Chadwicks.
When Matthew is not helping clients, he enjoys traveling, golfing and trying different cuisines.
